Effective writing

Effective writing, in any language, involves several techniques and skills:

Active and discerning reading.

Choice of vocabulary.

Study of basic grammar.

Serious punctuation.

The ability to use reference books, on paper or on online.

The acquisition of mindful care for one’s readers.

Forceful editing.
