There is a table in my room. Hay una mesa en mi habitación. There are two tables in my room. Hay dos mesas en mi habitación. There were many people. Había mucha gente. Was there enough soup? ¿Había bastante sopa?

●  Sintaxis. Habla muy bien inglés. He speaks English very well.

Me gustan muchísimo los plátanos. I like bananas very much. (No podemos decir: He speaks very well English.)

I like... a lot. I like your wife a lot.

He speaks... very well. He speaks Italian very well.
