Maybe vs perhaps

Maybe, quizá, quizás, puede ser: Maybe I´ll try too. (No confundir con may be.)
Perhaps, quizá, quizás: Perhaps Jack will come today.
Both words are wonderful retorts to any question, invitation or request:
Will you love me forever? Perhaps. Maybe.
Will you come back early? Maybe. Perhaps.
Will you lend me the money? Perhaps. Maybe.
You neither say yes nor no. A noncommital word.
