El plural de los apellidos ingleses e hispanos
En castellano hablamos y escribimos sobre los Pérez , los Martínez, los Calvo, los Carbonell (la familia Pérez, la familia Martínez...) pero en lengua inglesa emplearemos el plural: the Smiths, the Joneses, the Parrs, the Carbonells. "The Smiths are coming this evening to play a game of poker." La familia Smith vendrá a jugar al póker. Los Smith vendrá n a jugar al póker. "Los García se van de vacaciones." La familia Garcia se va de vacaciones. "To keep up with the Joneses." "The T r umps are now in the White House, but not for long."
