VER POR UN AGUJERITO Y FLY ON THE WALL
"Si pudiéramos ver por un agujerito lo que hace Paquita, nos llevaríamos una sorpresa." Significa que si pudiésemos espiar a alguien -por un agujero- veríamos su realidad. En la revista Tiempo (24/12/1990) se lee la expresión “Si miráramos por un agujerito, veríamos la cantidad de personajes…” Y "cómo la hubiera calificado Sofía si hubiera podido mirar por un agujerito" nos dice la novelista Lola Baccaría en La luna en Jorge , 2001. La expresión existe y, sin embargo, no aparece en diccionarios. La idea de espiar sin ser vistos, por métodos milagrosos, existe en inglés como Be a fly on the wall : veamos.
