LAS LENGUAS INGLESA Y ESPAÑOLA de Delfín Carbonell

Los nativos se pueden permitir ciertas libertades con el idioma que están prescritas al extranjero culto que quiere causar una buena impresión. El forastero del inglés es un invitado que debe guardar las formas y ser todo lo correcto que pueda, como cuando vamos a comer a casa de un amigo. No todo vale y no debemos causar mala impresión. Todo lo contrario. El nativo común y corriente, con una cultura media, dice y escribe "alright" por "all right." Creo que el forastero debe decir y escribir siempre "All right." El extranjero se guardará de decir en castellano "detrás mío" por "detrás de mí." Desde luego que nunca dirá ni escribirá "wanna", "gotta", "gonna", en ningún caso.
