EL LÍO DE "ALREADY", "YET", STILL... Y SU TRADUCCIÓN POR "YA"

Me piden que vuelva a escribir sobre already, yet, still que parece que confunde a ciertos estudiosos del idioma inglés. Veamos:

No confundamos already (adverbio), ya, con all ready (adjetivo), preparados, listos. Por ejemplo:
Is it noon already? ¿Es mediodía ya? I have already paid, Ya he pagado. I have already finished, He terminado ya. I have already told her, Ya se lo he dicho.


Yet, adverbio, todavía, aún, ya,  y se coloca al final de la frase: Haven't you finished yet? ¿Todavía no has terminado? Not yet, Todavía no.

Still, todavía, aún, delante del verbo: I am still alive, Todavía estoy vivo. Do you still want to marry me? ¿Todavía quieres casarte conmigo?

Still, sin embargo, aún así, pero: I like her, still I find her a bit odd, Me gusta, aún así la encuentro un poco rara.

Still, adjetivo, tranquilo, callado: The country is very still, El campo está muy tranquilo. Be still! ¡Tranquilo, quieto! You must remain still for five minutes, Debes permanecer tranquilo, quieto, durante cinco minutos.
