Languages and the brain

These days everyone, including myself,  seems to be writing about language learning and bilingualism and how the brain works and how it is affected in this process.
I must say "Ah, humbug!" aping the famous character. Neuroscientists have no idea of how the brain works. The brain remains the great challenge and all we say about it is pure speculation and phantasy. Our opinions about its workings are shots in the dark, leaps in the air.
Todo esto viene a propósito por lo que los "lingüistas" predican, y yo también, acerca del bilingualismo, de la adquisición de una segunda o tercera lengua y nos recomiendan hacer esto o lo otro.
Somos ciegos que guían a otros ciegos... y todos acabamos en el hoyo.
Las maravillas del cerebro humano siguen sin respuesta. Lo que es cierto es que el cerebro es maravilloso y que debe tener infinitas posibilidades de todo tipo. Y que puede aprender y adaptarse a todo.
