Spanish reflexive verbs

The action of the verb boomerangs to the doer: Lavo el coche, but yo "me" lavo. (yo lavo a mí. [?])

Me, te, se - nos, os, se: myself, yourself, himself - ourselves, yourselves, themselves.
Yo levanto la mano but yo me levanto (I lift myself).
Renata se gusta, she likes herself. Arnaldo se corrige siempre, corrects himself.
Peinarse, vestirse, decirse, acostarse, sentarse...
The trick is to memorize me, te, se, nos, os, se... the rest is easy as pie.
English often skips the reflexives: Me afeito, I shave. Me visto por la mañana, I dress en the morning.
