ENFADADÍSIMO - EXCEEDINGLY ANGRY

 

El otro día, en la calle, un tipo malcarado e imbécil me sacó de mis casillas y perdí los papeles por completo. Perdí los nervios y los estribos. También el oremus y monté un cirio, un pollo, de cuidado. Armé la marimorena y, claro, la tensión arterial mía se subió por las nubes y estuve a punto de perder el conocimiento. Luego me calmé pero -qué cosas- me paró otro imbécil que me espetó no recuerdo qué en inglés and, let me tell you -you should have seen me-, I lost my cool again, I lost my rag, my temper, got off the rails, worked myself into a lather and flew off the handle into a rage. You should have seen me! I made quite a scene but, again, I was able to get my composure back, adjust my necktie and as I was walking away from the crowd that had gathered, I kept saying to myself that I must remain calm no matter what. After all, it's not becoming to make public spectacles like that. I want to be the master of my fate and the captain of my soul.  And I walked away repeating Proverbs 15:1 "A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger."
