THE MOORS OF MY MIND

I do not use ChatGPT much, mainly because my technical and intellectual mindset forbids it. I did, however, inquire whether I could elicit some quotations from the Brontë sisters. I got a few back that suited what I was looking for, and as a parting shot, ChatGPT wrote: "... and may the moors of your mind stay wild and windswept." I checked all over to get the sentence's meaning and citations. None to be found. I asked ChatGPT and I was told that it had invented the phrase because "the moors of our minds" sounds like a fine phrase for memory, solitude, or imagination with a touch of gothic wildness. In short, AI had plainly made it up. Well, why not? So I have translated it as "los fantasmas de mi mente" and, "adiós muy buenas; que ustedes lo pasen bien."
