To be + infinitive

El verbo TO BE + Infinitivo equivale a tener que, suponerse, deber, haber de.

Ejemplos:
What are we to do with this money? ¿Qué debemos hacer con este dinero?

There is nothing to be done. No hay nada que hacer.
What am I to say to him? ¿Qué se supone que debo decirle?
He was to come early. Tenía que venir temprano.
They are to finish by five. Tienen que terminar para las tres.
