Let´s avoid needless words

It seems that Emerson answered Thoreau´s "Simplify, Simplify" by saying that one Simplify was enough. And he was right.
Let's take a peek at needless words:

Lift up – “Can you lift the chair?”
Listen up – “This is important. Listen.”
Make perfectly clear – “Let me make it clear.”
Mix together – “He mixes with lowlife people.”
May possibly – “It may happen.”
Never before – “I have never done a thing like that.”
Might possibly – “He might come.”
None at all – “None came to the party.”
New recruit – “This is our recruit.”
Open up – “I refused to open the door.”
