NOTHING VENTURED...

I’m not much of a risk-taker. And yet, every day, we all take risks without thinking, even actions as simple as crossing the street.

This came to mind as I weighed the pros and cons of a small investment, with the possibility of losing what little money I have. My inner Jiminy Cricket urged me to play it safe and stay away from the unknown. But then my bolder self shouted, loud and clear: Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

And the Devil whispered into my Spanish ear: Quien no se aventura, no pasa (cruza) la mar.

So here I am, on tenterhooks. What should I do?
